RETURNS AND REFUNDS FOR BOOKS

1) WHEN YOU CANNOT REQUEST THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (E-BOOK and OTHER CASES)

You cannot exercise the right of withdrawal in one of the following cases:

– purchase of digital products or e-books

– owner of a company or freelancer with VAT number.

– PDF or Epub formats are not compatible with your PC, Mac, smartphones or any reading device

– the book has been opened by the Customer himself or if the paper product is damaged.

2) RETURNS AND REFUNDS FOR BOOKS

The private customer has the right to withdraw from the contract and return the ordered products (BOOKS), provided they are in the same condition in which he received them, still in the original sealed packaging.
This refund can be made without any penalty, specifying the reason. The right of withdrawal must be exercised by the Customer, verifying the conditions listed in point 3) "how to exercise the right of withdrawal", within 14 (fourteen) working days from receipt of the Products.

In the case of the BOOK, the value of the return will be determined by the difference in value between the paper product and the value of the ebook; retaining, where necessary, the amount of any shipping costs not paid by the Customer, which will remain definitively borne by the Customer. All returns must be authorized by the Aquilone Novara team. The return of the products must take place within 14 days of receipt of the communication containing the RMA code. Shipping costs will be entirely borne by the Customer, and cash on delivery parcels will not be accepted.

Once the products have been received and their integrity has been verified, if the products are not damaged, if they have not been opened or damaged, Aquilone Novara will proceed, as soon as possible and in any case in compliance with the terms and methods provided for in this regard by the 'art. 5 paragraph 7 of the Decree governing the right of withdrawal, to credit the Customer with the cost of the returned products.

The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised by the Customer in the cases referred to in point 1) YOU CANNOT REQUEST THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (E-BOOK and OTHER CASES).

3) HOW TO EXERCISE THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

in order to exercise the right of withdrawal you must carefully follow the following instructions, under penalty of forfeiture of the right itself.
The customer can exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 days following delivery of the purchased volumes (Legislative Decree 6 September 2005, n. 206, Consumer Code) by sending a withdrawal request to the email address aquilone.novara@gmail. com. Indicating:

- Your personal data
– The desire to exercise the right of withdrawal pursuant to and for the purposes of article 49 and following of Legislative Decree no. 21 of 21 February 2014
– The progressive order number that we issued to you at the time of purchase
– Indication of the product or products for which you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal

Once your request has been received, if exercised in accordance with the provisions of the law and according to the methods indicated, Aquilone Novara will send you an email confirming the acceptance of your request. The email will also include the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) authorization code which you will have to attach to the package you intend to return, marking it clearly on the outside of the packaging. Only then, and within the strict deadline of fourteen days, will you be able to send the package containing the goods you intend to return. We recommend that you return the product using an insured mail system as returned goods travel at the sender's risk.
The costs incurred for returning the volumes to Aquilone Novara are borne by the customer.
The goods must be returned intact and in perfect condition. Aquilone Novara, after having received the volumes and verified their conditions, will proceed with the credit for the cost of the returned volumes.

The refund takes place according to the methods indicated by the customer and specified in a letter accompanying the returned goods, within 30 days of confirmation of acceptance of the return. The right of withdrawal does not apply to products in digital format (such as ebooks, software, etc.), as required by current legislation.

Teacher card – 18 app

The right of withdrawal in the case of purchase using a teacher card or 18app.
After purchase, due to ministerial provisions, once validated by the merchant, the vouchers can no longer be canceled and re-credited, nor is it possible to receive a refund via bank transfer.
The reimbursement of products and services purchased with this payment method can take place exclusively through the assignment of a purchase voucher of the same amount, to be used on the Aquilone Novara website.

4) RETURN PACKAGING

ATTENTION!!! Do not send the goods for which you intend to exercise the right of withdrawal before having received, via email, our authorization to send and the relevant RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) certificate. Packages without an RMA certificate correctly affixed to the package will be refused and returned to the sender. Make sure that the products are returned intact in their original packaging and with adequate external packaging. Otherwise, the products will be rejected and returned to you freight collect (at your expense).
We remind you that the shipping costs for returning the product are your responsibility, as required by current legislation.

5) WHEN AND HOW THE REFUND WILL TAKE PLACE
Aquilone Novara is required to refund the value referred to in point 2) "book returns and refunds", no later than fourteen working days from the date on which it became aware of your exercise of the right of withdrawal; Aquilone Novara has the right to block the disbursement of the refund until receipt of the returned goods, or proof of the return of the same. If you made the payment by credit card or PayPal, the refund takes place via a transfer to your credit card or your PayPal account, or the re-credit takes place according to the methods indicated by the customer and specified in a letter accompanying the returned goods, from the confirmation of acceptance of the return. The right of withdrawal does not apply to products in digital format (such as ebooks, software, etc.), as required by current legislation.

6) DIRECT COLLECTION IN STORE AND RETURN

If the customer collects directly from the store, please go to Aquilone Novara, a physical store, with the receipt issued by the shopkeeper at the time of purchase.

7. Processing of personal data
Personal data will be processed in compliance with the privacy policy and used exclusively for purposes related to the contract or for information on editorial or training initiatives. At any time the Customer can request its update or cancellation by contacting the assistance center. The data controller is Aquilone Novara, which guarantees that the data will not be disclosed or transferred to third parties.
